Cabo de Hornos Chilean wines in Cyprus

Cabo de Hornos, the meeting point of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, inspired the creation of this iconic wine in 1994. Today it forms part of an exclusive group of the five ultra-premium wines of Viña San Pedro, called Grandes Vinos de San Pedro. This wine is an exceptional representation of Cabernet Sauvignon elegantly blended with Syrah and Malbec; all of which are selected from our very best vineyards. Cabo de Hornos is the result of this terroir joined with the precise, meticulous, controlled and dedicated work of winemaker Marco Puyo along with the valuable guidance of our consultant Paul Hobbs.

At the latitude of 35º South (35º Sur), Vina San Pedro found what they were looking for, valleys with the ideal climate and soil for winemaking. In this area they installed their first winery and century-old wine cellar. The result of this long history is a Reserva wine made from the best that Chile’s Central Valley has to offer, with penetrating aromas and intense flavors that embody the spirit of San Pedro’s founders to craft quality wines. 35 South comes in five varieties in Cyprus; cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc.

Hartziotis Trading imports in Cyprus 6 different labels, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and a rose blend of cabernet-merlot. Gato Negro has won multiple awards including the ‘Impact: Hot Brand Award’ in 2009 and 2010, in the USA.
