Unlike many modern Speyside whiskies, Benromach gently peats its barley, adding subtle smokiness that enhances layers of malt sweetness, orchard fruit, soft spice, and light sherry influence. The spirit is double distilled in copper pot stills and matured primarily in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, allowing complexity and depth to develop naturally over time.
